Pilot Simulator Assessments
Participate in our upcoming advanced COMPASS test and simulator assessments. We are currently running assessments in Amsterdam for Boeing pilots and London Gatwick for Airbus pilots.
Successful candidates will be invited to Dubai, where you’ll explore the city, tour our company-provided accommodation, and complete logbook reviews and medical checks.

First Officer
The First Officer is the second-in-command of an aircraft, working closely with the captain to ensure the safe and efficient operation of flights. The First Officer assists the captain in all aspects of flight operations, including pre-flight checks, take-off and landing, and monitoring the flight systems during flight.
Synthetic Flight Instructors
SFIs conduct flight training sessions, develop and update training programmes, and evaluate the progress of trainees. They work closely with our flight training department to ensure that pilots receive the training they need to maintain high levels of safety and efficiency.
Recruitment Pilot
Recruitment Pilots assess and select qualified pilots to join our team. This involves reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and assessing candidates' qualifications and experience.
Captain
Our Captains are our ambassadors, interacting with passengers and representing the airline in a professional manner at all times. They are responsible for making critical decisions related to the flight.
Training Captain
Our training management team oversees the extensive training and development programmes our pilots undergo. This includes providing new pilots with their initial training, as well as ongoing training and proficiency checks to ensure that our pilots maintain their required skills and knowledge.
Flight Operations Audit
The Flight Operations Audit Captain conducts flight operations audits and safety assessments to ensure that all flight operations comply with the airline's safety and operational standards. The audit captain works with other departments to evaluate procedures and practices to identify potential safety hazards and risks.
Management Pilot
The Management Pilot ensures the safety and efficiency of our flight operations. They provide leadership and guidance to the airline's pilot training programmes, develop and implement policies and procedures related to flight operations, and oversee the selection and hiring of pilots. They also conduct audits and safety assessments on flight operations and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and industry organisations.
CRM instructors
CRM instructors train and educate flight crews on effective communication, teamwork, decision-making, and situational awareness skills to enhance safety and operational efficiency. They may also conduct evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the training and identify areas for improvement.

The current selection process is held in two stages.
Stage one is held remotely and consists of a short HireVue video interview, psychometrics testing, abstract reasoning testing, and a live digital panel interview.
Stage two is held in Dubai over a two-day period and consists of simulator assessments, Advanced Compass, and Emirates medical assessment.
You would also need to allow for a day’s travel on either side.
We provide you and your legal spouse with a return Economy Class ticket (upgradable to Business Class subject to availability) to Dubai from your nearest destination in the Emirates network.
Yes, you must provide complete certified logbook records when you’re invited for the assessment. This can either be a stamp in your logbook from your fleet manager or chief pilot verifying your hours flown, or a stamped original letter from the fleet department of your airline or authority.
You can email Pilot Recruitment at pilotrecdxb@emirates.com if you want your application to be considered at a later date. However, if you have accepted your scheduled assessment and then declined with less than a week’s notice, your application may be closed subject to specific circumstances.

Unless otherwise stated, the contract of employment is permanent and open (no fixed duration).
The probation period is six months from your date of joining.
The training bond for first officers and captains is USD 42,000. The bond applies to flight crew on passenger fleet for 42 months.
This is at the discretion of the company.
This is a mandatory government formality to secure a residence visa.
