These are trained and qualified staff that are divided into two sections. One, Dispatch, comprises the Red Caps. These men and women can be described as Flight Managers. Each Red Cap takes ownership of a flight and coordinates all activities related the handling of that particular flight ensuring a safe and on-time performance, before moving on to the next one.

The other section is made up of the Load Controllers who manage the weight and balance of each flight and issue the relevant documentation. Their prime focus is on accuracy and safety.
