The Recruitment Process


Step 1: Apply online
View our job vacancies to review minimum qualifications, eligibility criteria, job responsibilities and complete our online application.

Step 2: T & Cs sent
If shortlisted, you will be contacted by our Recruitment Specialists and will be sent the Terms and Conditions for the position you are being considered for.

Step 3: Quality Approval
On acceptance of our T & Cs, you are requested to forward via fax or email, the required copies of licenses / approvals to be vetted by our Quality Assurance department within Emirates Engineering.

Step 4: Telephonic Interview
A preliminary telephonic interview is then arranged involving the Line Manager and the Recruitment Specialist to gain an understanding of your background, experience and motivation for applying for the role.

Step 5: Invitation to Dubai
After receiving approval from Quality Assurance and if successful at telephonic interview stage, you are invited to Dubai to undertake our comprehensive.

Step 6: Psychometric testing
You will be required to participate in psychometric evaluation and obtain subsequent      feedback from our in-house psychologists.

Step 7: Panel Interview
You will then be required to attend a face to face interview with representatives from the Line Department and our Recruitment Specialists.  This process will seek to determine your technical knowledge and skill level, in addition to evaluating you against our Competency Framework.

Step 8: Tour
You are taken on a tour of the Engineering facility, sample accommodation and the       Emirates Clinic.  This provides you with an insight into our working environment, living        standards and health care provisions to allow you to make a more informed decision should you be successful in your application.

Step 9: Result
All candidates are informed about the outcome of the interview within the next 2 weeks form the date of their interview.

Step 10: Post Selection,  Joining & Induction process
Once the necessary approvals have been attained the successful candidate will be contacted by the Human Resources Employee Services (HRES). The HRES is responsible for the entire joining process and will make the necessary arrangements to deliver the employment contract and relevant documentation.
